It’s clear that the player was expected to spend more time in Limgrave then I did before going to the Weeping Peninsula. I just like to have what I consider essentials before taking on any particular part of the game. With the general difficulty of From’s games I feel pushed into this behavior even more. That’s not necessarily a bad thing on it’s own. I like having challenges presented to me and being pull an answer from a large tool set. It’s just that a lot of what I consider essentials are spread throughout the map an baking the progression into the assumption that the player is going to go to Margit first before turning around and exploring the rest of the area is frustrating on repeat playthroughs. I’ve already learned the lesson this was intended to teach, why are you forcing me to do it again?
